I just love first grade because they come with so many stories they love school. They're enthusiastic about learning and they're just so teachable. You can have a student start out the year not knowing how to read not knowing how to write. And by the end of the year they're writing books. They're reading chapter books. I mean it's really an amazing growth process.
Canvas is awesome. According to my students they just love canvas with a canvas app they are able to really just with a touch of a button be able to navigate through the whole site. It's almost like their own little place where they can go and find their community whether it's seeing pictures of their friends or whether it's seeing the project that they made. It's a place for them to really be able to see their work. Show it to their parents.
Show it to their friends. It's been a huge hit with the parents. They love Canvas. A lot of the children are saying hey mom look at my canvas site and they're showing it to them. And the parents just love the wealth of information that they can find.
