Why is InstructureCon going virtual?
After much consideration for the health and well-being of the global community, we've decided to deliver InstructureCon 2021 as an awesome virtual event again this year.
When is InstructureCon Online being held?
The conference will be a one-day event, held on Thursday, October 7, 2021. This will be a global event with regionally relevant content and three start times for the convenience of all attendees.
What about the other regional CanvasCon events?
This year we're going to consolidate all of our InstructureCon and CanvasCon events into one virtual event: InstructureCon Online.
Will there be specific regional content?
Virtual conference attendees will be able to select from more than 50 breakout sessions, including regional speakers.
What if I can’t make it live?
It won't be the same without you! But don’t worry, you can catch all the keynotes on demand after the event and browse tons of resources at instructurecon.com.
How do I register for the virtual conference?
Registering for the virtual conference is easy. Simply visit www.instructurecon.com, fill in the registration form, and you’re done! The event is free; no registration fee. We can’t wait to see you (virtually, of course).
Who are the confirmed keynote speakers?
You can check out the keynotes at instructurecon.com. But stay tuned for more announcements!
Will there be pre-con sessions available?
Due to the nature of pre-conference sessions, with 1:1 instruction and hands-on learning, we've decided not to host any this year. There will still be plenty of other awesome sessions to choose from!
I registered for the virtual event but didn’t receive a confirmation email. Whom do I contact?

Speakers
I was accepted as a speaker, but can no longer present. What should I do?
Please send us a quick email at instructurecon@instructure.com to let us know.
Will I be speaking live at InstructureCon or will my session be pre-recorded?
Sessions will be pre-recorded. We'll be in touch with all speakers about recording logistics.
Will I be able to participate in a live Q&A after my pre-recorded session?
Unfortunately, no. We’d love to host your Twitter handle on your presentation, however, to allow attendees to ask questions via Twitter.
