Joe Wilson, MA, PGCE, DipEd, MBA is currently Head of Digital Skills and Acting Director of the Learning and Teaching Academy at City of Glasgow College.

A UK and international education consultant and the former Chief Executive of the College Development Network. His work focuses on College and work-based education and its structures and practices. He is currently Co-Chair of ALT (Association of Learning Technology) Special Interest Group in Scotland,  an SCQF Evaluator, a consultant for the British Council and has served as a domain expert in UNESCO consultations around open educational practice. He has held several public appointments in Scotland over the last 30 years around youth, adult and community education and learning technology, including board memberships of Anniesland, Clyde and Kelvin Colleges.

Previously a schoolteacher, an adult education tutor, a college lecturer, and a senior manager in several Scottish Colleges before working for a range of national agencies and non-departmental public bodies as director and non-exec 

Matt is an experienced creative and digital expert with over 15 years in designing and implementing high-level digital and multimedia solutions. Passionate about user experience and user-centred design, Matt has successfully led and advised in implementing a new 'user first' design methodology approach that is user-focussed in planning, designing and building online distance learning courses.

Working within a specialist team at the University of Birmingham 'Educational Enterprise' Matt and the team are now leading on the development of the University's online teaching portfolio. Using design psychology, usability best practices and a set of design principles Matt and the team have created brand new Distance Learning templates and a student experience that is consistent and free-flowing for all distance learners of the University of Birmingham.

Sidharth is the Vice President of International Strategy for Instructure and oversees the strategy and vision of Product for both Canvas and all of our products from a global perspective. Sidharth manages the strategic direction of the fast growing Instructure Learning Platform and works with the Global teams to ensure that as the Product is developed, that it is thought about in a global capacity. Sidharth works to identify market specific Product initiatives recognising that education can vastly vary between and inside of regions. Additionally, over the past two years he has been overseeing our Online Programs strategy and identifying how Instructure can better service the needs of our users across the globe as they transition their programs to Online and hybrid modalities, including attracting new 'non-traditional' learners.

Sidharth has been actively working in Education Technology for over 10 years and is dedicated to providing avenues for institutions and learners to have access to the best tools and resources to enhance education

Daniel Hill is the Managing Director - EMEA at Instructure, a company dedicated to elevating student success, amplifying the power of teaching, and inspiring everyone to learn together through its world-leading Learning Platform and ecosystem.

Prior to this role, Daniel held positions of both Regional Director and more recently, Regional Vice President where he was responsible for the continued development and growth of Instructure’s community across Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Prior to Instructure (through his work at Lumination, Literatu and Edumate), Daniel has held a variety of leadership roles, enabling educational institutions globally to adopt a variety of cutting-edge hardware and software to push their technological and pedagogical ambitions.

Having migrated back to the UK from Australia to take up his first position at Instructure nearly 3 years ago, Daniel currently spends most of his time with his wife Olivia, two children Rupert and Orson, and their extended family.

Here at Instructure, Sam is the Senior Account Executive for Further Education & Skills across the UK & Ireland. Sam has been working deeply in the EdTech sector for the past three years. Working with FE colleges on their digital strategies and platform deployment, Sam comes with a keen interest in the social impacts education can bring.
