Our Louisiana Customers
Louisiana's Story
Since 2015, we’ve been proud partners with Louisiana 2-year and 4-year institutions and HBCUs, providing fully mobile and accessible learning management solutions to students and faculty across the state.
In Louisiana, Canvas LMS is increasing collaboration and making it easy to share courses and content across multiple campuses or entire systems. Faculty members are using Canvas LMS to build a rapport with students, provide varied feedback, and follow student success with course analytics.
Since the whole system uses Canvas LMS, we were able to share resources across institutions... There is not a reason to recreate the wheel when your peers have already discovered a solution that helps students and teachers be successful.

Students Agree
Access is Key
In 2022, over 80% of our Louisiana 100 Student Voices respondents believe that access to the internet and technological devices are two key socioeconomic factors that fuel student engagement and success. Students also express a clear interest in mobile learning capabilities and well-designed courses. Yet not all students have access to the technology that would foster learning due to WiFi or device access limitations.

Why Canvas Works
Work smarter, not harder. Create alignment with Canvas.
Enable the sharing of content, courses, and modules between institutions and systems across the state to save time, reduce costs, create alignment, and provide a more equitable learning experience for students.
It's about the journey AND the destination with Student Pathways.
Engage students through custom, stackable pathways, which help them navigate their academic and co-curricular journeys, and provide a roadmap for acquiring new skills.
Validate skills & showcase workforce readiness with Canvas Credentials.
Digital credentials help translate learning outcomes into validated skills that both students and employees can understand. Badges give learners agency over their learning and career path by clearly communicating the employer-valued skills they've either already demonstrated or still need to learn.
