Melissa serves as Chief Academic Officer for Instructure, where she drives the company’s global academic strategy. With extensive edtech experience as an educator in both K-12 and higher education institutions and in edtech executive leadership positions, she advocates for educators worldwide to have the necessary resources as they face ever-increasing educational barriers. Melissa currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the education industry non-profit 1EdTech, is an instructor at the University of California, Irvine, and holds several advisory roles at other organizations. She has a master’s degree in educational policy from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

In the FEU Group of Schools, he is President concurrently of East Asia Computer Center, Inc.; Far Eastern College Silang, Inc.; FEU Alabang, Inc.; FEU High School, Inc.; Roosevelt College, Inc.; East Asia Educational Foundation, Inc.; and Nicanor Reyes Educational Foundation, Inc. He is also the Chairman of Edustria, Inc., and the President of the Foundation for Information Technology Education and Development. His affiliations include, among others: FEU Public Policy Center (President); Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (Board Member); Coordinating Council of Philippine Educational Associations (Trustee, 2020–2022); Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning–National Council of the Philippines (President, 2018–2020); Southeast and South Asia and Taiwan Universities (Member, Steering Committee); Philippine Economic Society (Lifetime Member and President, 2007); Action for Economic Reforms (Fellow); Management Association of the Philippines (Member); and Leadership Council of Sustainability Development Solutions Network, Philippines (Member 2020–2023).

He obtained his AB (Economics) degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1978, MA (Economics) degree from the University of the Philippines (Diliman) School of Economics in 1987, and PhD (Applied Economics) degree from Stanford University in 1993.

Galvin is currently an Instructor at School of Education and Learning Design, and the Director at the Ateneo SALT Institute or the Ateneo Institute for the Science and Art of Learning and Teaching.

Previously, he has also served as an Education Technology Specialist for the Basic Education Sector Transformation Program, through Cardno, Inc. where he provided technical support to the DepEd ICT Service Department, in the area of technology evaluation, integration and ICT literacy. He was also formerly the coordinator of the NExT(New Experiences with Technology) Team at Xavier School.

His work experience also includes the design of massive open online courses for professional development, and research in the area of education technology and student-centered learning in higher education.

He has an MA in Educational Administration from Ateneo De Manila University, and is currently taking his doctoral studies in the University of San Francisco. He is also an Apple Distinguished Educator and an Apple Professional Learning Consultant.

Jason de Villa is currently the head of the University of Asia and the Pacific’s Center for Teaching and Learning. He was responsible for the team that implemented their LMS and also managed the transition to online teaching when the country began its lockdowns because of the pandemic. Prior to his current position, he had taught on a full time basis for 12 years, as well as held various administrative posts, such as Director of the ICT Office, and University Secretary.
 

Ms. Tricia Anne Castro, or Ms. Trish, has a bachelor’s degree in General Humanities and a Master's degree in Development Education, both from the University of Asia and the Pacific, Philippines. She has since discovered the wonders of how technology can aid teaching and learning. She eventually became an Apple Distinguished Educator in 2015, an ISTE Certified Educator this year, an Apple Learning Leader, a Kaisipan Inc. fellow, and a resource speaker in the field of Education Technology. She has been tapped to deliver webinars on Emergency Response Distance Learning, Designing for Online Distance Learning,  Parent-Teacher Partnership in Online Distance Learning, and has guested in several podcasts.She has been with DLSU Integrated School for 16 years—served as the EdTech Director for 2 years before eventually becoming the Principal.

Professor Anna Cherylle Ramos has been in the field of instructional technology for two decades in various capacities and appointments. She is a certified e-learning Specialist through a scholarship grant from the Federal Government of Germany and Global Campus 21 e-academy, and a Digital Leadership and Innovative Teaching alumna of the distinguished Australian Fellowship Awards (2015) from Queensland University of Technology (QUT).  

She is currently appointed as the Director of the Educational Technology Center of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) supervising the UST Cloud Campus Project where she specializes in massive-wide e-learning management for the oldest university in Asia with an average online deployment of 46,000 students per academic term. As an e-learning  leader, she ensures the professional development of the teaching workforce in the appropriate use of technology across the wide spectrum of online remote delivery modes. She has worked with UNESCO ICT for Education (Bangkok) and among Philippine teacher education institutions as Resource and Distribution Training Center (RDTC) coordinator in the promotion of the use of open and free educational resources (OERs). Currently, she is elected as the President and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine e-learning Society spearheading an exemplary league of e-learning professionals in the  advancement of online technologies  in the country.
